Description
This is the test make-up done on Boris Karloff as the Monster in the original 1931 Frankenstein. There is only one B&W still of this make-up and it was used as the basis for a color painting by James Bama for a 1967 Bantam paperback edition of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. I bought that paperback then and I always wanted to capture this make-up in a bust, as well as the color Bama used for his cover painting. This 1/4 scale bust is solid resin, painted, signed and numbered and only available only through me. Limited to 25 pieces. The bust is about 6” tall with base and comes in 4 pieces, bust, base and 2 neck bolts. Painted busts are signed and numbered by me and limited to 25 pieces.
