Farrah

Farrah Fawcett, a private commission piece. This is a 1/6 scale statue based on the famous Playboy magazine cover in the 1970s. I enjoyed trying to capture the feel and essence of her as well as the pose. It was difficult to tell what she is sitting on in the cover shot, so I designed an acrylic stand and base that was made by model maker Oliver Brig. He also made the champagne glass that I cast in clear resin. I molded and cast my clay sculpture and the statue stands about 12” high. Completed in 2009.
